About Me

People don’t grow up aspiring to be therapists; life has a way of bringing them there. For me, certain events shaped my determination and ability to help others, to give them the support and understanding they need. Working with people of all backgrounds has helped me develop and learn every day. I love what I do, and since qualifying as a therapist in 2002 I have never stopped wanting to learn more.

My experience includes 20 years of helping clients struggling with range of issues in voluntary, community, corporate, clinical, and private settings. I have worked as a Clinical Lead, Safeguarding Lead, Head of Psychological Services, Clinical Services Manager, and delivered a vast number of case evaluations, psychological profiles, and treatment plans over the years – bringing this knowledge to my current private practice.

I am also a Suicide Prevention Trainer and Bupa certified therapist, working extensively with people in the Ambulance, Fire and Rescue Service, and the Police, alongside delivering intersectional therapy for those of South Asian backgrounds and other minority groups in the UK.
